TPMS Headaches Solved!
Amazon CustomerJanuary 6, 2018
Our Buick Encore has the pickiest TPMS that I have ever run across. Living in New England, we can have 20 degree (or more) temperature swings in the course of a few hours which wreaks havoc with tire pressures. After a few years of the old "pump, check, bleed, re-check & repeat" protocol, I had just about had it. This unit makes topping off the tires a breeze! Solidly-made, it has a minimum amount of controls and is instinctive to use. Connect to a pressurized air source, attach the chuck to the valve stem and depress the trigger fully to inflate. Release the trigger to read air pressure in tire; if more air is required depress fully again to add air. Once you have exceeded the required pressure, simply press the trigger halfway to deflate until correct air pressure is reached. Disconnect chuck, re-install valve stem cap and head to the next tire. It just can't get any easier.
The absolute best ! Better than Snap-on

Excellent product!! 11 stars if I could. I work in a Mercedes-Benz dealership, and use this gauge all day 5 days a week. So far over one year of daily use and abuse. Has yet to fail me, nor did the batteries die. Screen is easy to read, very precise compared to analog type chuck, comfortable to hold, easy inflate deflate trigger, and the BEST part of this is, you can buy three of these before you buy a snap on one. Compared to my co workers snap on chuck, there is no difference at all besides the price tag. My co workers were suprised on how well it performs, and also the steal of a price its at. I can tell you now, I will buy it again when, and if my current one quits on me. Awesome product Astro!
I like the way the inflator feels in my hand and filling multiple tires goes very fast.

I use the astro 3018 inflator to fill about 12 tires and it worked very well and exactly as described .Did not have any issues at all and Inserting the batteries was not bad. The unit seems to be very well built and feels good in the hand with the heavy-duty rubber casing .I like the fact that I can over inflate a couple psi and deflate it down to exactly what I need all with one unit. The unit is all you need to fill and check psi on your tires.
Real sturdy quality feel to it overall
Brandon MApril 17, 2017
Real sturdy quality feel to it overall. Clamps on easily and is easy to use. Purchased for motorhome tires, because it takes a long time to pump one up and if you have to bend over and hold the bit on the tire-stem your tire your back will hurt after finishing just one tire. With this I can stand up and just look down at the pressure on occasion. Really happy with my purchase.
Worth Every Penny!

Unit is tire-shop, tool truck grade. Works flawlessly! I'll echo other reviewers: Why didn't I get this sooner? I received the redesigned one with steel hose & AAA batteries so I'm sure old stock has been flushed out by now. Here's a tip: install a disposable inline moisture filter.
Why is it inevitably my TPMS light goes off when it's dark, 10 below and blowing snow? Eliminates the drill of take gloves off, fumble with cap, fumble with pressure gauge, get stable reading after third try, warm hands, inflate, fumble with gauge, warm hands again, inflate more "˜cause you're still too low, hands starting to hurt from being cold, hunt for cap lost in snow "“ and repeat 3X. New drill with Astro: don't even have to take my gloves off! Just clip, inflate, unclip, cap "“ next tire please!
