Surprisingly comfortable/easy to keep on and effective.

This thing is really impressive. I read mixed reviews, but I'm very glad I purchased it. It is not inconvenient or annoying at all. I find myself leaving it on between cuts/use because it is not a problem. The fan works perfectly to prevent fogging. I didn't try to add-on ear protection because of bad reviews on that, but I just use some ear plugs.
You get what you pay for...

Top heavy, unable to secure to my head in such a way that it does not flop around. To make it secure enough you have to over tighten the ratchet on the head strap. Ouch! Headaches! At this price point you would think it would have a fabric/nylon webbing to aid in sizing rather than one plastic strap at the top of the head. I had already ordered the setup to place the battery pack at the waist (I did that after reading the reviews) rather than on the head to eliminate that weight up high but the high pitched screech when the unit powered on sealed the deal for me. Too many cons, not enough pros for this kind of money. Amazon graciously allowed the return. One use in 5 days, less than 30 minutes! I just ordered the 3M Versaflo Heavy Industry PAPR Kit TR-300-HIK. They are real cheap when compared to the 560,000.00 for a single lung transplant!

Works great, surprisingly comfortable, quiet and great visual clarity. The charger is a bit sketchy, connection at the charging port in the helmet has an intermittent connection, causing the LED indicator to show false charge/fully charged lights. We became aware of this right away and made sure to adjust the position on the charger cord to allow the connection to be maintained. After the first charge and use, I "adjusted" the contacts within the plug receiver to guarantee a good connection. Now all is well.
Performance is outstanding, keeps the "dust" form our grinding of foam from getting into my eyes and lungs.
Visor is always clear and fog free.
