very pleased, bought it for my 9 year old. It is not a kid size one as my husband is also able to play on it. It took us about an hour to put it together, very easy to follow instruction video and paper that came with it. All is well made and shipped in one heavy square box.

My son's drum instructor suggested this set for a beginner set. It really is the best bang for your buck. Yes, there are some other cheaper sets on Amazon, but for $50 more this set is well worth it. Save yourself some shopping time and order this.
It took my hubby abut 1hr to put together. We had to play around with tightening the drums so that they didn't rattle. Also, there is no hole in the base drum so we did cut a hole and put a pillow in there. Happy drumming!!

It took my hubby abut 1hr to put together. We had to play around with tightening the drums so that they didn't rattle. Also, there is no hole in the base drum so we did cut a hole and put a pillow in there. Happy drumming!!

We had some issues at the beginning because the initial set that was sent to us was missing the snare and the L arms to connect the toms to the lug drum. FINALLY after everything got sorted out, we have a complete drum set. Everything looks exactly as pictured. My daughters love it and so do I!

My soon-to-be-9 year old son is starting drum lessons for his birthday. I ordered these drums, and so far no complaints! I needed some help setting them up, but I have absolutely no experience with drums, and as of now, they have held up to both of my young sons banging away on them. His teacher said it was a good set for him when he saw them, and the company's customer service is amazing! One of the screws hadn't been threaded properly, and the company immediately emailed me back when I emailed them about a replacement piece, helped clarify exactly what I needed, and sent us a new one that we received only a couple days later.
