My roofer took the original one off and replaced it with a regular vent when my roof was redone this caused my furnace to stop working as it sucked its own exhaust in for intake. I bought this one to replace his standard roof vent and although it was not a direct replacement I made it work very easily. Check your dimensions to make sure this is the exact one you need or be prepared to do minor fabrication. Either way a plus and I would not hesitate to buy it again if needed.

A bit spendy, but our furnace had a terrible time keep running. Inspected the current rain cap and it was all rusted to pieces. Put this one on and it immediately fixed the problem of the furnace sucking in the exhaust into the burn chamber. The furnace is running perfect now.
