Nice backpack, looks good and feels well built. I believe it will last for many years. The laptop pouch is nice for TSA though I've been through airports where they still wanted laptops taken out. There are plenty of pockets to hold your gear, water bottles, books/papers, keys, etc. I wish it had at least 1 more internal mesh zipper pocket though.

Made from high-quality materials and provides plenty of space for notebook computer, files, and everything else you need whether you're taking some work home from the office or hitting the road for a week or two. Unfortunately, the TSA agents at my airport do not acknowledge the ScanSmart and make me remove the notebook from the bag every time I go through security at the airport.

This thing is astoundingly well made. I've had mine for three and a half years now. I use it literally every day. I travelled for 7 months around the world with it, then lived in Indonesia for a year and a half with it (bringing it to work with me every day, using it as my mobile office).

It is just now starting to have a couple of issue (stitching coming undone on a high-wear area), but they are easily repaired. I'm incredibly impressed with this backpack and will likely buy another SwissGear bag when this one finally wears through.

Had it since June 2016. Excellent bag!! Have my MacBook Pro, surface pro, battery charger, 4 books to 1/ 1/2 inch binders, tons of G2 pens, highlighters, cables, headphones and this thing is built to last.

No tears on the seams, arm straps or zippers. I'd buy it again highly recommend. Bottom is clean no rips and I've laid this on many class room floors, study rooms etc.

Think I'll need a bigger one next time though! Keep it up Swiss.

A very, very nice backpack. Sturdy, well made, and plenty of pockets to keep things organized. I particularly like the laptop pocket with the side zipper (makes it really easy to get in and out and the location of the zipper makes that compartment easy to find, two things I would have never thought to look for but really make a difference) and the way you can open the bag all the way up (without spilling your contents everywhere) to avoid taking the laptop when traveling is simply a great innovation. This really is a top notch backpack that has everything I need for work.

when searching for things I don't like about it, I have to get really nit-picky. I would say the front compartment which would normally hold pens and business cards and such just seems off. The slots are an odd size and things don't fit great in it. However, there is a netted pocket inside the main compartment that is great for small things and that's where I keep my pens and other junk. Also, the side pockets are pretty small, so my mouse and charger are a tight fit, but in the end, they do fit. Obviously, these are very, very minor drawbacks to an otherwise stellar backpack and I would recommend this bag to anyone interested in a well made, professionally minded, nice looking backpack, especially considering the price. I've had worse backpacks that cost twice as much (if not more!)
