Well made, super functional and a great value
Pop N Wood•February 27, 2018
This bag is the bomb. I got a matching Ibera rack making it super easy to hook on and off the bike. I adapted a Bontrager rack to work with the quick release as well. The quick release is great for taking all valuables with you into a convenience store or restroom. It holds the bag solidly, I have never had it shift or come loose. The side compartments are great for quickly organizing and accessing tools, wallet, first aid gear etc. The rear compartment holds a phone perfectly. The top has multiple zip compartments for holding maps, rags, extra gloves, bandanas etc. It has a draw string bungee on top that is great for shedding outer layers or a helmet. The main compartment holds a fair amount of stuff including extra water and energy bars or other items needing quick access on the trail. It is reasonably water proof but get the matching rain cover to make it completely rain resistant.
I have made several multi day rides with this bag. It is holding up well, no complaints. The quick release can gunge up with road grit, especially on wet trails, and has required the occasional cleaning and shot of spray lube to keep it working smoothly.

Roomy, well-constructed, and versatile, it's still definitely not a shoulder bag.

Clips on securely to the Ibera PakRak bike rack. Once it's on there, it's not coming off by accident.
Roomy, stores a pretty sizable amount of stuff. I wouldn't want to make a weekly grocery run with it, but it packed a change of clothes very well, shoes included. Lots of straps and pockets and whatnot for putting what you need where you need, and the main compartment is super roomy.
Construction seems to be really good, too. I mean, I wouldn't trust this thing to survive having the crap beat out of it on the daily, but since it spends ~90% of its life on the back of my bike, it has held up very very well.
The included shoulder strap is not something I use very often, though it has come in handy a few times. That said, this pack is definitely designed to be on the back of your bike, not slung over a shoulder. It's far from the most comfortable thing I've carried around, though it's not like it's got razor blades cutting in to you every time it moves, either. It suffices.
Combined with their panniers, you can carry more than you'd likely ever want to with this system. Unless you're doing a long-haul tour, in which case you'll like want more bags and whatnot to carry all your stuff. But for a daily commuter, it's solid. Would buy again.

everything about this seemed to be perfect. It fit perfect on the bike

I have used this product for a few months now. everything about this seemed to be perfect. It fit perfect on the bike. carried what I needed, was easy on and easy off. one draw back was attaching a light to the back- the strap that might be used was not easily used; HOWEVER- the seam on the zipper on the back pocket came undone - making that pocket useless. It leaves it flapping in the wind and a major pain in the butt. I started using this in the beginning of the spring/summer. It should last longer than 4 or 5 months
Perfect combination of security and size and convenience

Great trunk bag which is a perfect combination of security and size and convenience. This back securely attaches to my Ibera Bicycle Seatpost-mounted Commuter Carrier IB-RA1 (obviously) but also offers the space I need for carrying my essentials (like my insulated lunch bag) and the misc extras I keep to make my commute easier (like a bike tools) The reflective handle and carrying strap are perfect for when I need to take the bag with me and the rear loop was perfect for adding a clip-on rear light. The hard bottom shell also makes for a perfect splash guard on those wet, raining commutes.
Great Build, Great Quality, Great Value

Perfect fit for my Ibera rack. I purchased this because I needed a pack for my longer rides. However, I do not like bulk, so I started with the rack which I loved because of its slim-line design which looks good on a 26-inch road bike. This pack was a little larger than I expected, but it is lightweight and has plenty of great storage areas. I love the fact that even fully loaded, it does not throw my bike off balance and I barely notice its even there. Construction is fantastic. It is well-made and quite durable. Pops on and off of the rack with ease and is easy to carry thanks to the handle across the back (pictured). If you are looking for the right bike pack, this is the one. Don't forget to first check out the matching rack
