Shoe Cream That Works

Solid cream polish for the price if you have a darker shade of brown leather shoe (the Meltonian dark brown is an espresso color, almost black). I only use this color on 1 pair of dress shoes, since I mostly have contrast stitching or cognac shades that i use the medium and light brown creams on. Rubs well, helps the leather as it should with a bit of moisturizing.
Beware...how well this stuff works! oh- and also the amount given.

Covered up the little scratches perfectly on my shoes, I thought it was too good to be true! Why is it not a five star rating you may wonder? Well because the amount you get is somewhat of a lie. I opened up the small jar, happy with the size itself because I knew it would last a long while, only to find that a small hole of where some polish should be, and that it looked as though they tried to coat only the outside glass to make it look full when in reality, they skimped out slightly on how much I should've got. There's still more than enough to last a long time, so I'm not going to knock too many stars off, considering that the polish itself is very good quality and solved my problem.

This is great polish. I have used meltonian for several years, and find it to both shine and protect leather. After purchasing several different color variations, I found the company's color code palate to accurately resemble the color of the polish (once applied, not necessarily the color you see in the jar). Will defiantly buy again.

I used this product on my scratched up green leather sofa. It worked well, and while all of the scratches (from a pet) did not totally disappear, it certainly improved the look of the sofa. I applied it in circles in one area at a time and buffed it really well. Finished the whole sofa then buffed again and let dry completely before sitting on it. I have pictures on my phone I can download if anyone wants a look, just ask.

Very user friendly, gives leather a very nice patina when applied and buffed out properly. It works great on leather that does not need a mirror finish, it definitely leaves more of an antique, raw look. The one drawback is that it takes a while to dry before buffing, an hour minimum. If you apply, let sit for 15 minutes then buff you will surely have white residue show up in the hours to come.
