First, I was pleased with this, so I actually bought a second unit. It really looked good and sturdy. It contains two light zones you can control with two switches. I used a smart home switch to turn on and off the power to the cord of this light, and I always use both the zones. Now 50 days since I bought the light, the plants growing well, one of the zones had died. With such light, you would expect one or more of the T5 light might die and need replacement, but in this case, it seems to be the whole zone, so most likely something inside the light is wrong, and there is no way to open and fix it. So after 50 days, and the water is not warm enough to transplant my plant, it may cause damage to all of them. If the lifetime of this light is only 50 days, its really not worth the investment. The 2nd unit is still working for both the zones.

Built solid, already noticing improved results after three days. I experimented with cheaper red blue leds but was wholly unimpressed. I am using this purely for vegetative growth.
This thing is heavy as hell, you'll want bolts attached to studs to be safe. I also recommend an adjustable pulley based clip setup. This does get pretty warm too - for me this is a bonus as.I have not needed to heat anything and the ambient temperature in the growing space has maintained 68-75 depending on time of day.
Light penetration and coverage are outstanding.

Nicely packaged. No dents or breakage. Works perfectly right out of the box. Changed two of the lights for 3000K red lights and they went in just like the blue tubes the light came with. Have had it up for 3 days and very pleased. Will return in 6 mos to give an update. ****Well I'm back after six months and knock on wood it's working marvelously. Infact I bought four more Agrobrites in this size and two in the 4 foot 8 bulb size. Very pleased. I removed half of the bulbs in each fixture and replaced those with 3000K red lights just as before. I grow plumeria and needed full spectrum for flowering. I keep these lights anywhere between 6-15 inches from each plant. Also have some dwarf citrus trees that I have about 18" from the lights. No burns on anything. Everything is doing fantastically- another knock on wood. This costs a little more than other brands but I can't imagine buying anything else. Five 4 foot 4 light lights, and two 4 foot eight light lights, and my 15x15 foot room's temp is about 85-86 degrees. I live on the rainy, windy, cold Oregon coast and grow everything indoors year round.

Wow! I am so happy I purchased this light. I decided after buying a home with 1.5 acres that I would start a large garden and I would start seeds indoors. I started with tomatoes/ peppers. I am so happy with this product as my plants are healthy and strong. They will go outside in their garden home soon. It doesn't get too hot and I haven't noticed an increase in our monthly electric bill. It was easy to assemble and all lights arrived unbroken. I am attaching a picture of my light with my plants underneath. I also grew all different types of flowering plants as well.

Im so dissapointed. I bought this light but the small size last year and its still working perfect. So i bought the doble size it came fast and everything ok yesterday. But today i turn it on and tried it.. It doesnt work two sides. I thought it could be the tube but i changed them for the ones that were working in the other two side and they work. So basically the four tubes work but not two side of the lamp. I will have to return it and get a new one like the one i bought last year. I took a pic.
