My Downspout and black corrugated drain pipe were separating and leaving a gap where water could escape and splash on the house/puddle in the yard. After looking at the big box stores, all I could find was this in 2"x3". Since I have 4"x3" downspouts, this worked out. I used short self tapping screws to secure this to both the metal downspout and the drain pipe, now I will never have to worry that they have separated again!

My drainage pipe was not aligned with the hole in the ground (large circular pipe) - it was about 2 inches off. Voila! I bought this, bent the pipe to look like a lightning bolt, and problem solved.
$3.22 to avoid having to change out a large main drain in the ground. VERY happy!
