Buy if you love to sweat at night

Are you a hot sleeper? Do you like waking up in a pool of your own sweat? Then buy this product. I am not one of those people. The cold gel cover feels great for about 15 minutes before you get gently swept away to sweat city. The mattress is fairly comfy but does not breath well.
See people complain about the smell but that's because they immediately put the matress on their bed. Do not do this. Lay it out in an open area overnight so it can inflate and get rid of the foam smell.
Because it was comfy at first, I give it two stars instead of one. I am a hot sleeper. I sleep in a 55 degree room all year round. I usually just need a sheet and a small corner of comforter and my feet stay uncovered.
Slept on it for 2 months until I called it quits. Set it aside, bought a purpre matress, and haven't looked back. Get a purpre instead. No cover needed. I have yet to wake up in sweat.

So far we love the "cool" feeling of the topper part...it seems to be really working! As someone who has a hard time with "night hotness"...
The only hard part is that it raises your bed height considerably! Like a good 6-8 inches. We already had a plush pillow top on our mattress so now with the foam part and the topper part, since I'm 5"2, I literally have to launch myself to get up onto the bed....LOL! Its quite comical. But overall the quality is great. What we really should have done is just ordered the mattress topper part and left out the memory foam part since all we truly needed was the the cooling effect for me and my sad sweaty self.
This is SO ideal for someone who has a firm or too hard of a mattress and needs some support and comfort of a more plush mattress with the added cooling of the topper part. My husband and I also said this would make for a comfortable night on the floor like a "palette" for sleepovers for kids or family members who just randomly stop by and need a place to sleep...

If you are prone to headaches or back pain BUY THIS! We bought this to add some cushion to our hand-me-down mattress from grandma. There really is 3" of "foam" and additional cushion on the cover. Great mattress topper for the price.

When I first took it out of the box I was skeptical because it was so compact, but in two hours it expanded fully. There is an odor at first, but I let it sit in the bathroom with the exhaust fan on overnight and by morning the smell had dissipated. Highly recommended. I don't know how I survived this long without this topper.

I purchased this for my queen size bed and have been thoroughly pleased. It does have a smell to it when it is unpacked, but if you follow the directions, it dissipates within a day. I do recommend flipping it half-way through the airing process. The fit was exceptional, the foam pad was just a hair smaller than the mattress all the way around, allowing for compression. The cover fit perfectly, even with 15-16 inches of mattress and pad under it. My first nights sleep was sound and comfortable; an experience I have enjoyed every night since. It may be a little pricey, but with the fit and performance, it is worth the investment. I haven't had it long enough to experience the long term durability, but the seams of the cover appear to be very well sewn, and the foam bounces back every morning.

The big brown box it was delivered in came damaged so the box inside was damaged as well. I purchased this mattress pad because my husband wakes up in sweat and can't get a good nights sleep on our current mattress. I thought this Cool Memory Foam would feel cool but it isn't at all. IT made me hot that one night we used it as well! The stench of the foam that everyone complains about only lasts a day so that didn't bother me at all. I should have returned it after I saw how poorly the packaging was but instead I opened it hoping it would do the trick for my husband. It's way too much of a hassle to find a box big enough to stuff it and sent it back. Overall, it's too soft for me, it isn't as solid/hard as a memory foam mattress and it didn't cool me or my husband down at night.
