They keep your hands warm in sub freezing temps

They go on the handlebars very easily. Did a ride in 15 degrees F with a thin pair of Pearl Izumi gloves and my hands stayed warm. They work very well for me in sub freezing temperatures. It does take getting used to putting your hands inside the mitts. It is advisable to test to make sure you have enough room to break and shift before you get on the road. My large mitts have enough room for me to do that. One hand position is all you get. However, it is a warm hand position. I would recommend them.
Ultimate hand warmers!

OMG THESE ARE GAME CHANGERS! I heard about these during a cycling class and was intrigued, then I met someone who had them on their bike and I had to order them. These are wonderful, my hands stay MUCH warmer with these on, sometimes I even take the gloves off and just ride with my bare hands. You can't ride in the drops with these on but who cares, your hands are warm!!!! These are easy to install/uninstall, they are comfy and warm, buy them!
2 thumbs up

Love these mits. I have never been able to ride below about 33-35* no matter how thick or heavy my gloves. With these I have been able to ride so far down in the low 20's approx 22*. with just a thin liner. However, they aren't without drawbacks. I use these solely on my commuter/touring bike. They are bulky and heaven forbid you have a side wind, because they act like a sail so they take away most of the aerodynamics you may have. Also note, they restrict your hands in a single position and for me, I wouldn't be able to use them for more than a couple hours at a time because I need to move my hands. I would never put them on my road bikes because of weight, loss of aerodynamics and the restricted hand position. With that being said, they have allowed me for at the first time ever, to ride through the winter regardless of sub freezing temps. Definitely two thumbs up.
Toasty Hands!!!

they look ridiculous, but my hands were SUPER WARM in sub 20 degree temps. They would probably be fine a little colder, but the mercury hasn't dropped that low. I have a MEDIUM, my hands are small, and I have plenty of room to access shifting and brake levers on my cross bike. Putting them on what pretty easy as well. Hopefully they will wear will throughout the season and the next several as well.
Oh, they are warm

These are really warm. I also did not believe these could protect my hands in freezing conditions but I have used them two winter already. The difficulty sometimes is not that they do not protect but that they make your hands feel too warm. Let's say you leave home in a good day with temperatures around freezing. These will work well if you have some fall gloves on you. Something you wear when it is in the 50s. If temps go up during the day and go above 40 you may want to have light gloves handy because you hands will feel really warm. Of course the downside of these are also clear: they limit the movement of your hands inside the handle bars, they do not protect you when your hands are on the flat and they make the drops unusable. A small price to pay to ride when it is really cold.
