Good looking case for hard drive.
works well. It has USB cable which I use for my Laptop, TV, Desktop Computer.
It's short but when I put USB cable into, then HDD is hanging with no problem.
One thing I didn't like was that LOCK-Button was broken, but this is not big problem because it's closed quite well without locker.

I ordered this after buying a different case that didn't work. Installation of the drive into the case was very simple. The attached USB cable is very nice but a little short. It works OK on a laptop but I had to support it to reach my USB port on my desktop. Bottom line is that it works at a good price.

I used this to clone a drive to replace a dying hard drive. The USB cable is very short,less than 2". So short that when plugged in, the thing didn't even lie flat on the table. Would have given it 5 stars if it had just 2 or 3 inches longer cable.

This is a great enclosure. What is best about it is that it only requires 1 usb port to run unlike most enclosures/external hdds. The hdd is well protected even though the outer casing is plastic and I have had no heat issues. The downsides is that the cord is short and unpowered hubs cannot work with with the enclosure because of the power requirements. I highly recommend this enclosure.

I was skeptical about yanking the drive from a dead laptop and shoving it into an unpowered USB case. I have 3 big external drives, and all have massive power cords.
Zero problems here. Inserted the drive, snapped the case shut, and plugged it in. Recognized the drive instantly, let me tweak permissions, and we were up and running.
Access times actually seemed faster than the internal drive, but that may have been the difference between expectation and perception.
Looking for an excuse to buy more of these.
