The Best!

I've been using it for almost an year, but has absolutely NO PROBLEM with its performance :) I got it for 9.95, but now it is 16.73 (wow!)
I love the investment, I made an year back.. haha. There are several great features with this design, although I wonder often whether the plastic leaves any traces of it into hot infusions. The great design features are the space it allows herbs/tea to expand in hot water unlike infuser spoons or balls, which also I've used over years. This is the best design in my view. Another lovely feature is its lid, which doesn't allow any volatiles from the herbs/tea to escape, of course besides keeping the infusion warm if not hot. can be used as a tray to place the infuser before drinking, to avoid mess on the table. Another important feature I have to mention is the mesh, which is super-fine that doesn't allow any bits of tea/herbs to fall through! Only thing if I'm not wishing for more is.. someone shud mold an infuser with this same mesh without any plastics!

Good buy; practical use.

This is a pretty nice basket for tea infusions. I use it with a 46 oz pot (for hot tea), and with a 32 oz pitcher (for cold tea). Two heaping tablespoons of loose tea fill it one-quarter full -- which is perfect for a little concentrated cold tea (with iced cubes) or a big pot of hot tea. Because it's a brand-specific product it might not fit your teapot exactly, but there are two flanges on the top opposite each other that extend the diameter of the fit about one inch total. Good buy.
Great for coffee

Very impressed - I bought the medium basket- it will fit in a coffee mug easily. I used it for pour over coffee. There was a little fine silt on the bottom of the mug. I had looked at some of the other pour-over methods and had read that the coffee was either too weak (ran through too quickly) or took forever to go through (as the coffee got stuck in the filter over time). Since the coffee's brewing's in the cup with this, this was the easiest way of making a cup of coffee.
Perfect choice for single serve loose tea enjoyment

I previously had a metal clamp strainer for my loose tea. It was hard to measure or control how much got in there, it was hard to clean, and I always ended up with loose tea leaves in my cup. It finally broke because it was, after all, crap.
After reviewing a number of options, this seemed like the best choice, and I am very happy with it. Not only is the mesh fine enough to prevent loose tea leaves from floating in my cup, but it's well-made and easy to clean. Will be getting this as a gift for all the loose-tea-loving folks in my life, as I'll be much more inclined to enjoy it myself with this contraption.
I chose the larger size after reading reviews. It fits in the "normal" sized mug, but I suspect the small one might have been ok, too.

A terrific way to steep your loose leave tea in your mug!

This is a great versatile loose leaf tea filter for brewing a great cup of tea. It's sturdy, rugged and has a very fine mesh to filter out the smallest of particles. The lid is handy as a caddy when you take the filter out of your mug and need something to set it on. It is roomy and spacious for allowing plenty of room for your leaves to steep without getting claustrophobic. :) I've purchased 4 or 5 of these to have around and use often. The one I use at work daily finally wore out after many years and so I ordered up another one.
