Excellent value!

While it took some getting used to, our fire piston from Wilderness Solutions works like a charm! Our order came with some kindling and char cloth which was an added bonus! The lightweight, compact design makes it easy to add into any survival pack or bug out bag. We will definitely be purchasing more!
not to worry now...fire in hand.

Worth every penny,...tried for 3 weeks to make one, this one comes with the tube, extra "O" ring and some char cloth,...this thing worked the first time out of the bag,...I made more char cloth and now I'm set when the SH*F...buy at least one, 2 would be better.

I'm a long time scouter, and I love this. It takes some practice to get used to. Remember that it has to be completely clean - if there is leftover char cloth in it, it won't work. Also helps to lubricate the o-ring with a tiny bit of vaseline beforehand.
I found that a fire piston actually works pretty damn well with the Charcloth

I got this because I saw Les Stroud (Survivorman) use one of these on an episode and so I thought I'd give it a try...
To my surprise, I found that a fire piston actually works pretty damn well with the Charcloth, just as long as you push & pull as fast as you possibly can!

Fabulous Firepiston

This firepiston turned out to be just what I was looking for. It is compact, and very easy to use. Right out of the box, sitting at my workbench, I was able to get a coal. The only thing I'm wondering about is ,I was under the impression that it came with instructions on how to make the char cloth. It did'nt. I'll carry this with me on my next wilderness adventure.
