I've had this machine for over 10 years, pop several times a week and have had zero problems. It is very high quality for the price. I also have several co-workers who bought this machine on my recommendation and all of them are satisfied with it.

We've had this this machine and the base at work for about 1 year now. Looking back at how much we paid, its a disappointment. 1)the doors pop off easily, I personally have popped off the acrylic doors several times and one broke and so we have to replace it. The kettle can easily get stuck under the release handle which makes it a PAIN to dis lodge it, you almost have to dis assemble the unit. Lastly the tip out tray is poor ly designed as well so it can pop off or not stay in place. The kettle itself is great and the pop corn is great, its solid, keeps warm etc. BUT for the price point you would expect quality. It might be worth 1/2 of that considering the qualify of workmanship and design.
Updated review... Going downhill more.. We had to pay 30 for a replacement door. Still makes popcorn though.
