This is a great unit. We have been in this office for 25 years and have gone through at least 6 electronic door alerts/bells. They are hard to install, batteries have to be replaced often and they break or wear out. This little unit was easy to install, the bell is plenty loud and it doesn't have any parts that will wear out. I definitely recommend.

Bigger than I had anticipated. Not as loud as I would have wanted. However, I will keep the item as it is CONSISTENT in alerting me when my front door is open. My current alert system (plug in type door chime with a sensor on the door) works great most of the time. The volume is perfect, however it is inconsistent and only alerts me 95% of the time. For my needs, I need an alert system that works 100% of the time. Using both systems together.

Old school, like me. No batteries, no wifi, no problem. Installation instructions precise and clear. Even a caveman or his significant other could install this. Three matching screws including the small drill bit to pilot the holes. Took me about 15 minutes to complete the installation. I'm old, fat and short, had to use the first rung of a step ladder otherwise I could have done it in half the time. Works like a chime...errr...charm.

The door frame we have is not a simple flat surface, and its metal, so we had to stick together some strips of wood to give it a flat surface to attach to (used double-sided Gorilla tape). Also had to make a little base for the magnet because of the stand-off distance between the door frame and the door jam. Once installed, it worked great and everybody liked it.

We got this doorbell after multiple break ins to our back stairwell. Every time someone enters the stairwell, it sounds off a loud DING that can be heard throughout the building. It gives us all peace of mind that if someone enters, we will absolutely know about it!
