Power for my Ring Door Bell

First of all, I had not noticed many options available to power my Ring Door Bell other than rely on the internal battery which is not a good thing. Then I purchased a unit from another seller that supposedly had its transformer in the middle of the power cord. It was defective. I received the Wasserstein unit, and after extending the wiring to meet my needs, I tested it to see if it was sending out the right amount of voltage. It tested out at amount 19, and now my door bell is up and functioning as I hoped and needed.

stop the madness people. RING video doorbells only work with a 12Volt AC output adaptor. I have ordered all sorts of adaptors claiming to work with RING video doorbells are none of them do!!! you MUST have a voltage output of 12-24 volts AC NOT DC

Works great with my Ring Doorbell Pro. Power strength in Ring app shown as "Very Good." By the way, no resistor is needed--just connect directly to the Ring Doorbell, (A resistor is needed with some other doorbell transformers attached to a Ring doorbell when you have no actual bell also attached--but not this one). Wire is short so unless your AC plug is right next to the Ring, plan on patching in some wire to extend it, but that's no big deal.
