I'm still in what I consider the testing phase of using this product. I had hoped for immediate relief from my feet falling asleep while on a Concept 2 Rower and I got it. I had also hoped that it would extend my ability to row much longer distances. I think I probably will end up getting about a 40-50% increase. I was easily able to row a 5k without issue. I was able to get to 8k before I started having moderate discomfort. This was a doubling or so in that 4k-5k was my previous discomfort zone. I had hoped that I'd be able to get more to a 10k or even a marathon without issue. The jury is still out on that. I haven't made it yet, but I know for certain that I saw a drop in my 10k time.
I'd also offer that there should be clearer instructions on placement of the gel pad. I had to play around with it for one rowing session before I knew which end should be forward and what side should be up.

It was so thin, I did not think it would offer much improvement over the uncomfortable seat on my rowing machine, but it has made a welcome improvement in comfort.
