We purchased the 12' x 48" pool and we had leaks right out of the box. The problem is, we did not notice them, until the pool was full. The investment in the water and having to drain and refill meant we had to go to the store and get a patch kit and did not not try to do a return because of the water expense. Since then after taking it down and setting it up again very carefully and cautiously, it has developed more leaks. We had another similar pool, smaller in size and never had a problem. This one turned out to be a real lemon for us. You might be thinking "they probably did not prep the area correctly", and my answer to that is we did use new sand, and also a pool felt pad under the pool which protects the pool bottom. The blue tarp they provide is rather unsightly and way bigger then the pool not to mention a square!

So far this pool is great for what it is. I've used intex pools for years but purchase this best way pool because they are the only maker that actually has a 12x48" size which was beyond perfect. The smallest intex makes is 14' - 15'
I would 100 recommend upgrading the filter the one that comes with it is useless with basically zero suction. I got the larger intex one with the timer SO worth it. *** side note you will have to get hose adapter kit for the larger filter pump!!!
It's great ladder comes with the kit but I wish it was wider, its very narrow
Lastly, the best way pool liner is WHITE. Horrible. The liners with the faux tile print are much more appealing and forgiving
Change the ladder width and white pool liner and the pool would def have 5 stars

8/2/17 Update....the pool pump has stopped working already! Happened last month. Who do I contact??
9/18/17 Update...all of the fittings have rusted and the ladder include. Don't know how long this pool will last since its rusting so fast. Will try to contact the company to see if they will do something for us. So to recap, the pool pump stopped working prior to my above post, didn't last a year, pool was delivered on April 3, 2017! Not sure how long the ladder will hold our weight since it is rusting and of course the connections all rusted. No longer happy. Will try to add photos later.

Great small pool for my young kids to get cooled off in. Easy to set up as described. It comes with everything you need to get it up and running after a few hours of filling with the hose. Took off a star because the filter pump it comes with is not sufficient for the size of the pool- as is the case for most easy up pools. I replaced it with an intex sand filter for another 150 from Amazon.
Someone needs to write some understandable directions for the entire set-up!

Terrible instructions made it take much longer than I expected to get the filter set up! The pool itself was pretty much a no-brainer but the valve connections with 3 holes and no identification of the nozzles required trial and error. Since I had never set up an above ground pool with a saltwater filter and pump I found it very frustrating!
