We decided this year after reading reviews to buy the rack with the cover thinking that they would be great.. Wrong

We purchased 4 of these racks.. Going by the reviews.. Our main reason was that the covers came with them.. For years we had been stacking our wood and protecting it with a tarp which was a chore once the New England winter set in.. We decided this year after reading reviews to buy the rack with the cover thinking that they would be great.. Wrong.. The bad weather has not set in and the covers do not stay on at all. The are always blowing off.. They are def. not long enough to get a secure fit.. We have tried different ways, at first we thought we had too much wood, we removed some. Then we rearranged to make the wood even not sticking out.. I wished I had saved the $400.00 and stacked like we used to with a $25.00 tarp.. The racks are secure but I don't think they will last.. So we have the 4 racks filled but now will need to figure out a cover.. Do they sell 16 ft covers? I would not recommend them racks.. Stack on a pallet!
Easy to put together

Easy to put together, very solid, bought another after getting one if that says anything. Was surprised that the feet have caps already inserted for putting this on a wood floor or similar, nice feature although I kept mine outside.
Would have given 5th star but not sure if included cover is durable enough to stand test of time.

Good idea, bad product

Absolute crap. If you put wood on it, as it's for, the cover won't fit. If you put it in your yard, away from your house, the narrow feet will sink into your yard once it's weighted down. The ends aren't perfectly vertical when assembled. Cover fades badly in normal sunlight. I'd suggest you keep looking...
A good solid wood rack for storing your firewood...

Good, sturdy rack. Pipes are strong. Only issue I had was with the small metal plates that were cross members between the upright pipes, linking the horizontal racks to each other and to the vertical pipes. When I placed them where they said to, the upper parts of the vertical pipes stood out in a "vee" configuration so much so that the tarp wouldn't fit. By placing the metal cross members on the very inside of the vertical/horizontal connection, I was able to get the uprights to stand properly. The tarp itself didn't look like much and it took a bit to figure it out, but once I got the trick of it, it actually worked and went down as the woodpile went down.
Good on the Wood Rack/Weak on the Wood Cover

The rack itself is strong & sturdy. We loaded it with a full load, after having put its 3 points of ground contact on paving stones, to keep it from sinking unevenly into the soil after rains, etc. On those, it is not wobbly, however, it would be if one didn't put something like those under its legs before loading it up with wood. The cover is not quite all it is stated to be, at least while the rack is fully loaded, as it would not even fit over the wood & reach around the side poles far enough for the Velcro to match up & fasten, (which is what is sewn on this cover to secure it to the vertical poles of the rack). If the wood level is was quite a bit lower than the top of the rails, it looks like the Velcro would match up, & then slide up & down as pictured. Still, living in the country as we do, with the higher winds we have out here (not blocked by anything like one would have in a regular neighborhood with other homes near all around), it does not appear like it will stay fastened with the too-small Velcro areas being all that holds it in place.
