I'm incredibly disappointed. I reviewed right away after first bath and I regret the original mostly positive review. I complained then that sticking power wasn't great, I could just barely bump into it and it would fall off but it did not leak water without being touched. (Just want to say I understand suction cups are finicky, I used it with water and completely dry, with water worked better. Nothing but water touched it until after it was placed) It worked ok for about a month and then pretty much melted. I take lukewarm baths, I use a roughly a 1/2 tablespoon of baby oil and 1 1/2 cups of Epsom salt. I took it out between showers and used hand soap to clean it. The plastic/ rubber should have been fine. Poorly made product or mine was incredibly defective. I'm planning on trying a different brand because I love having more depth to the bath water.

Baths have changed for me forever now! I can actually FILL THE TUB and not hear that dreaded sound of half my water (and my expensive magnesium flakes, essential oils, organic bubble baths and other fancy therapeutic ingredients) tragically vanishing down the drain. If you're a larger person trying to fit in a smaller tub, especially, you know... THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. Now I can take more baths, enjoy more relaxing warm coziness... all because of this little bit of silicone! Be careful if you have a refinished tub, as I do... remove those suctions SUPER gently and don't let them stick on too hard. Technically you're not supposed to use suctions with a refinished tub.

I was worried about the dimensions, since it's hard to find reviews that state how wide the actual plastic cover is for the overflow drain. The cover itself is 4 inches in diameter, and can easily cover any standard overflow. The entire product is about 6 inches in diameter (cover + suction cups). I found it most successful by running the suction cups under water before sticking it over the drain and onto my tub. I pushed down on each individual suction cup to make sure they adhered securely.

Before I started filling my tub, I actually dumped maybe half a cup of water inside the top hole of the cover to see if water would leak out from the bottom. I was pretty much testing to see if the seal would completely block the passing of water when I filled the tub up. I didn't see any dripping and I was actually able to fill up my tub and take a real bath. This cover easily added 3 or 4 inches of more water in my tub, and made it feel like I was in a deep soaker!

For the other reviewers that struggled with this product, I'm wondering if they ran the suctions under water and then if they pushed down on each individual suction cup, or if they just tried to push on the main cover to see if it would stick. If you just repeat what I did, you'll be enjoying a luxurious bath without having to remodel the bathroom!

After struggling to figure out how to use this thing, it's pretty great. A little of the water still slips through but it stops at least 90%. Make sure to dry the area you're trying to stick it onto, moisten the suction cups then try to apply it. It may take a couple of tries.

Seems good but haven't used it yet. Just glad it will fit in our tub! I wasn't 100% sure it was going to fit. Here are som pics with measurements
