This lil seat works perfect for my 6 lb chichuahua, her toy Aussie sister (17 pds) fits in it also. It doesn't fit between my front seats ( I have a Suzuki vitara), but I have it buckled in the back seat and she loves it.

We took a road trip from Houston to Denver at Christmas. It was to be the furthest we had ever driven with our chihuahua. He is spoiled rotten and used to being held and we knew that couldn't happen on a 17 hour ride. I found the Snoozer lookout and purchased it just hoping he would go for it. It fit perfectly on the console of our full-size truck. We strapped it on and hooked him in. He absolutely loved it! He slept in it perfectly content. He would watch the road and loved how he could see out the windshield. We felt he was perfectly safe. It's a huge hit with our family!

My Sweet dog absolutely loves this! It is perfect in our Yukon. She is able to look outside while we drive. It is narrow so you would not want a very large dog in it. I have a 2 lb. poodle. My Mom has one for her 12 lb. Shitzu and she bought the XL and is quite pleased as well.

I love this - it was a little difficult to attach in my chevy suburban - but I was in a bit of a hurry so I MacGyver'd it. I will follow directions next time I install it. However it was perfect for my Jack Russell/Chi mix and he was happily ensconced in it for our whole right to and from NC about 7 hours. I did use a harness with the restraint for extra safety!

The value is not in this product. It is not hefty at all- it is extremely light- feather light. It is not like other car seats I have purchased (I have purchased 5). I liked the looks, it matched my cars interior- but the console hook up is awkward and the product offers very little protection for your pet.
