I am knocked knee and have thick thighs. I did weight loss surger and wanted to be able to track my weight without having to be uncomfortable trying to get on a regular scale. This scale allows me to track my weight without having to force my legs together which can push down and make your weight heavier.

My mother likes to use a scale to weigh herself. She is not specifically overweight, but she enjoys knowing when she is a little bit more than she wants to be. For some reason the scale works very well for her positive self image and frame of mind!

She quite simply loves and adores this scale! I could not have purchased a nicer or better scale for her to use. My mother is in her eighties and it is very easy to use.

I did my homework on Amazon before purchasing this scale...looked at many different types, and read reviews. This one had a nice combination of positive reviews, simple design, and a good price. Some of the reviewers said they had a problem with the functionality of the scale, which concerned me, at first; however, reviewers also said that the customer service for the company that manufactures the scale is outstanding. That was all I needed to hear--I think customer service can make or break a product! I'm happy with the purchase...it works well and is super easy to read. Plus, it's giving me the numbers that I want to see :) (knock on wood).

I am suspicious of this scale. If I weigh myself and then again holding about 1 lb of stuff, sometimes, but not always, it repeats the previous weight.

Too much do I think of Volkswagon and a little computer program that is trying to outsmart me and show a consistency that the scale really doesn't have.

On the other hand, it is very consistent. Much better than our previous, highly reviewed, scale.

I received the scale when expected. Ready to go out of the box. Tested in multiple spots on the floor, got consistent weights pretty much every different spot. No need to "pre-tap", just step on, nice clearly lit easy to see weight immediately displayed. I feel very confident in the weight shown. One of the reasons I chose this particular scale was, when reading the reviews, for every negative review, I saw a response from the company inviting communication to resolve the issue, and multiple reviews indicated there WAS a problem early on, but it was resolved immediately and satisfactorily by the company. So far, I have nothing but positive to say about this product. It is larger and heavier than previous scales I have gotten, and it ONLY gives weight, but the more research I did on scales that give body fat %, etc..., the more I found that unless you're willing to spend $$$, you're not going to get anything satisfactory of that nature. So if you just want to know your weight, reliably, this seems to be a great choice. The size of the scale works well for my 6'3" husband to feel comfortable and confident standing on it too.

Update - still working great. Quick and easy, easy to read, accurate. Great product.
