Size not clearly marked, sticks came broken

These were the first result when I searched "Jumbo Craft Sticks". The size was not clearly marked on the listing anywhere at all, and the only place that it's listed at all is on corner of the box in the picture itself. I expected them to be jumbo, like the ones used to make the bird house in the picture on the box. When they arrived, I opened the box not only to see that they were drastically smaller than I expected, but also that many of them were broken and warped. When I tried to return it, they were going to charge $6 for the return shipping, so I'd only be getting $4 back out of the $10+ i paid. I can't even use them for basically anything because the quality is garbage.
I Recommend These For Several Uses

I purchased this product to use as plant markers in my garden. Unfortunately, used as they come, the sticks do not last very long outdoors. They probably need a coat of non-toxic paint first. I also used them for frozen popsicles which they are excellent for. There are so many sticks in the box that it makes you want to build something with them as well.
I love these!

These craft sticks have been wonderful for our preschool projects. Whenever I have bought large quantity boxes like this I have run into there being many broken or misshapen sticks in the package, but with this package, I have not even run into one of these. I will definitely be repurchasing from this brand when I run out and need more craft sticks
Great deal for a lot of craft sticks

The other day, I discovered a trail of ants leading to the top drawer of my 7 year old son's dresser. When I opened it I found a slew of ants having a party. They were noshing on the sticky residue that remained on a pile of popsicle sticks. I asked my son what the deal was and he informed me he has been saving sticks all summer in order to make a popsicle White House.
Not wanting to squelch his architectural aspirations, we cleaned up the mess and I showed him how to wash his sticks. I gave him a big Ziploc for future stick storage. After he went to bed, I ordered this box of 1000 popsicle sticks. When they arrived, I spread them out at his place at the table so he would find them at breakfast.
When he came to the table, he was stunned. He looked at me with admiration in his eyes and said, "You are the coolest Mom ever! I thought I ate a lot of popsicles, but you ate 1000!"
Not only did these sticks provide him with all sorts of crafting pleasure, they gave me cool mom status...and they allowed me to stick to my diet!

They're fine for most uses.

I'm pretty happy with the quality of the sticks. I bought them mostly for mixing and applying epoxy and other adhesives. I grabbed a handful and went through looking for any that were too weak or otherwise serviceable. I ended up tossing a couple that were cut across knots and would easily snap. The rest are fine. They are not all perfectly smooth and straight as I would expect from food grade sticks, but for craft and workshop use they're great. And, I looked for the "Made in China" and didn't find it. Canada! That just makes it even better.
