Excellent in correcting behavior

This collar was recommended by a dog trainer. It has really helped in correcting my dogs bad behavior. We barely need to use it to correct him now, but it helps leaving the leash on him when company comes over just in case we need to quickly correct behavior. Also good for walks.

The chapter of the Humane Society where I volunteer needed slip leads for the dogs we take to adoption events. I bought various sizes to accommodate the different sized dogs we take. These leads are good because they have the leather loop which can be adjusted easily to fit over the dog's head, then around the neck. The only thing which I would change is to have the lead itself made of something other than braided nylon, which can fray with use. I bought appx 8 slip leads. The thickness varied from .375" to .5". All were 6' long. The next time I order the leads, I think that I'll get some shorter ones, too.

This helps nudging my dog forward on our walk become much more manageable. She rarely pulls but likes to stop...a lot. I definitely wish I would have gotten the 6 ft. length, because 4 allows little room for her to move without me having to follow her with my arm. It also doesn't sit up at the base of her head no matter how many times I've tried, which these leads are meant to do. It starts off well and one pull in, slides down her neck and is too tight for that part. I use it on her actual neck because I don't have any issues with controlling her, but I would have preferred if it was less prone to slipping down

I use this for my 46 pd Pibble. She's not a puller and typically sticks either at my side or immediately behind me. Though she is fine with the typical collar/snap on leash I really like the simplicity and ease of use a lead leash brings. The plus with this specific lead (I own a couple of the same brand) is that it is soft, feels good in the hand and I don't have to worry about it chaffing her neck.
