Good for the price.

This meter is a great price for something one would use occasionally. I would have given it another star, but it did not come with a battery (it needs a 9 volt battery) and the battery compartment is closed with tiny screws. The instructions are confusing (Chinese? to fractured English). I would recommend watching some instructional videos on checking capacitors before trying it yourself if you have not done it before or you could hurt yourself.
Worth the money

Saved myself I don't know how much by finding the bad capacitor in my 3 yr old Samsung smart (and I use the term loosely) tv. Soldered in a new one, good as new. Will never buy another Samsung.

A little cumbersome to use because of the non-automated feature. But? I did not pay for a non-automated feature. Works though. I would suggest spending a bit more on an automated test piece.
accurate readings

this one works very well -
but feels cheaply made -
it still sits in my bag and hasn't yet been damaged -
overall very happy with readings - precise -
nice tool - for the price only sacrifice durability -
i can live with that - and buy another if this one breaks
thanks !

Well built for the price and works well on day one

Just received. Tried it on one known good motor dual cap 5/40 uF and it read spot-on. Tried it on another 35/5 uF and another single cap and the meter correctly indicated they were out of tolerance. To be sure of accuracy I tried on a brand new Panasonic 470uF cap and it was dead-on in about 5 seconds, which the single sheet (English) instruction/spec sheet indicated was the appx. time. For the price, if this doesn't go belly up before 30 days is up, it goes in the tool kit for this DIY'r. For the price was pleased with the quality - though the explanation for two "+" jacks was not explained - only one is needed. Leads are about 6 inches long, which is good - shorter is better on this type meter.
