Painted figures but poor stands

For O scale (1 to 48) trains or model boats perhaps, these figures save you painting. However, the stands are too small for the figures to stand reliably on their own - so figure on gluing the figures to a model, or gluing wider stands.

I have populated my layout mostly with Woodland Scenics figures for the quality and price point they provide. I find these Bachmann figures are very nice, well detailed, and well proportioned for the price. With a little scenic glue or sticky wax they will stand up nicely, and look great. I'd highly recommend these for any O Gauge layout.
