This hat is absolutely wonderful!! We have had it for over two years and I just lost it! We were packing for a beach trip and realized I didn't have it! Thank goodness for PRIME shipping!
Our first hat was purchased larger, 2T/3T- back when our son was about 12 months old. The little string clasp in the back works AMAZING at securing it on your child's head and finding the right fit. It was so nice not worrying about sun getting the back of his neck or his little face while playing in the pool, at the beach, or on the lake. He wore it on speed boats, jumped in pools and all kinds of boy wear and tear and this little hat held up while keeping him protected. Love it! We have gotten so many compliments on it's full coverage and practicality- plus what a great price! So happy to have it again for my now almost 3 year old. Love this product x100!

I was hoping to buy a hat for my little toddler that he wouldn't rip off his head. I liked that this had both the neck tie as well as the tightener at the back of the head, which is why I bought this. However, my toddler still ripped it off his head. It's still a nice quality hat with a lot of coverage / protection from the sun, and maybe next summer he'll wear it without tearing it off. I really like that it has a tie rather than a velcro neck closure, because I can get a better fit with a tie.

Bought this to cover my baby for his 1st trip to the sunshine state. Did an awesome job of covering his face and neck. Completely prevented sun exposure and burns which I was concerned about. You still have to ensure ears/ area under ears/ cheeks/ nose have adequate sunscreen. Liked the simple adjustable cinch string in back for custom fit as well as tie for under chin to keep it in place. Washed well on delicate, went thru dryer just fine. When wet while wearing (in pool, etc), dries quickly. Material is soft/ comfortable. Folds up compactly and takes up very little space in bag. Also got lots of comments from complete strangers about how cute his hat was! Good price for the product. Really like this product.

Perfection in and out of the water! Bought two for a week long trip to Florida for my fair skin 1 year old. It stayed on his head perfectly to protect from the sun and his few times of fighting to take it off. It held up well with dunking in the pool and dries very quickly. Protected his neck and shoulders well too. I HIGHLY recommend this in combination with sunscreen for great sun protection!

It's my second time buying this hat for my daughter. First hat was awesome, perfect sun protection. The visor didn't have a hard inside part so it was getting in her eyes a bit when wet, but no big deal. Then the adjusting string tore from the inside and I want able to fix it without ripping the seams so I bought a new one. They probably changed the material of the visor because it's hard now. Which is awesome! Except they packaged the hat in such a way that the visor is bent in the middle. I don't like the way it looks and am waiting for it to straighten itself out otherwise I'll have to return.
