I ordered one the first one came broken the second pne just didn't flourish i did everything required for both and they dried out i was so disappointed

I thought this tree would have close to similar amount of branches but mine shows up with only 2 branches about an inch long and the rest of the branches are much too thin to be really considered a branch. Nothing like the picture in advertisement. Tree seems healthy at least. Pot is white and different style of pot. I'm going to try and re pot into bigger one to see if I can make the branches to get thicker. I bought the cheaper fern bonsi tree and it was taller and had like 10 branches that were 5" or longer.

It was a beautiful Bonsai, but it arrived with mites all over it. After several months of trying desperately to save it, we had to get rid of it. If the Bonsai had been healthy and pest free, it would have been 5 Stars all day. But as it arrived, it was entirely useless. We are just lucky that we kept it segregated enough that the mites didn't spread to our other plants. The shape of the tree itself is why it is 2 stars and not just 1. Its a shame it was sent to us on its death bed.

First the Pros:

Arrived fresh and very well packaged. The pot is nice, however, no where near what is pictured.

Cons:

The plant, including the container, with its feet, is 14" tall - the tree itself barely measures 10" to the top of the highest leaf.
There are NO side branches, as shown in the picture. There is a clump of mostly very small dead twigs - less that 1/2" long - where a branch should be.
The trunk, which shown no taper, is smaller around than my finger and exhibits wire marks and I removed a small piece of broken wire from the tree.

With several years of TLC it MIGHT turn into an acceptable specimen, but I doubt it will ever look good close up. It is, at best, viewed from 15' to 20'.

I could not find a sticker to show the age of the tree, but if it is ten years old, this must have been the runt of the litter.

My yard has several elms and every year I pull "weed" elms from my flower beds. This looks like one of them with a bend in it's trunk.

If this was my first Bonsai it might pass, or I would give up on this hobby. I have seen better at Walmart and at yard sales for a lot lower cost.

Honestly, Amazon needs to do a better job of inspecting what is sold on their site - I expected better from them.

First off guys I have to say. I have always wanted to have a Bonsai Tree in my life. It gives the office a certain aesthetic. It adds a bit of life to your life. So that being said I have to say. I was worried about ordering this though the mail. However, I must say that I am completely satisfied. The plant came healthy and alive. Soil was moist as if it had been watered. The leaves are nice and green very vibrant.

I have had the Tree for 1 week now.

I know the pictures are the best and you can't really tell. However, my Bonsai has great curves. The pot was all in on piece.

I use a spray bottle to water it. I mist the whole tree before spraying the soil till damp. It sits inside facing a south window in the sun.

Complaints*

Only one, UPS. I have problems with UPS at my house they love to throw my computers or things over my gate. This time they set the box where I hardly could see it and it would have crushed the box with the gate if I wasn't looking for the box

That being said it arrived right on the day it said so really really satisfied over all with this product. Any one looking for a Bonsai Tree. I would recommend Brussel's Bonsai.
