Love it. Drives rigid and flex points in hard and soft wood. Wow, does this make framing up pictures soooooo much faster than the little hand-held Logan point driver. Adjust-ability allows just the right amount of point insertion when it drives the point. Force needed to squeeze is less than most of my general purpose staple guns. Keeps the point close to backer board for nice snug fit. Can't think of anything bad/wrong with it! I love it, and highly recommend. The time it saves absolutely justifies the expense.

Reviews of the previous model were less than stellar, and I was accustomed to thinking of Logan as a lightweight hobbyist tool.
It might be just that, but it sure feels solid and efficient. In the month we have owned it, we have framed a dozen very large pictures (several of them 5x4 frames). The drivers functioned impeccably, with nary a hesitation, even in hardwood, and without shaking everything as it nails points in. It certainly beats my expensive framer's hammer :-) Right now I am sold on the tool.

A definite need if you mount pictures in frames with pins

This drive mounting pins into the side of frames. I have found this task near impossible without a proper tool. This product drives the pins in deep with a single pull of the lever. You can mount all around a 16 x 20 frame in less than a minute. Takes hard and soft tacks.

I replaced a 20-year old Logan Dual Point Driver with this one, and boy, was I nervous about the expense. The old one just never worked very well and was SO HARD to pull the trigger! I spent half my time digging the points out. Framing was always a study in extreme frustration.
Well, from the moment I pulled the trigger on this driver, I was in love. My hands are small, and don't have much strength. No matter, this little beauty drove the points straight and true. Now framing is a snap, and, dare I say it, almost fun!

This is so easy to use and works perfectly! I have six frames with very little room between the backing board and the lip of the frame. This driver put points into a very narrow space easily and securely. The driver is very easy to use and requires little hand strength, making it something anyone can use. A fantastic product!
