It's got whey in it and sweeter than Hammer gels. I liked the Hammer gels more as it doesn't have the strong sweet taste that most gels have. And I get stomach gas if I take too many of these over a long run due to the whey. But it's supposed to help with muscle retention after 3 hours. It's okay as i mix it up with other foods.

The product itself is great but as of this writing the web page for ordering the Accel Gel is a mess. The pictures do not match the product description and it is not at all clear what is actually being ordered. I will probably order this again but I will definitely verify with the vendor exactly what I intended to order if the web page problems persist.
Great for stamina, price a bit too high

So far I really like this the Endurox R4 gel. The Strawberry Kiwi tastes great. I usually take one in the middle of a long mountain bike ride and I have noticed a definite increase in stamina, I don't cramp up as much, and I seem to recover quicker. I still have to eat a small energy bar or I get shaky but that is no different from before. I will buy and recommend this product. I would have rated it higher but I think the price is too high. I like for companies to make a really good profit but I have to believe their costs are way too high or they have built in a really high margin. I would buy more often, and probably spend more money overall, but I end up rationing.

Superior consistency compared to other brands (thinner, easier to swallow). Nice, neutral sweet taste, but not overwhelming. The addition of protein also makes it a superior endurance and recovery product. Just completed my first marathon and I credit these for sustaining me though the race, and also for my rapid recovery afterwards. I felt like I could have run 2-3 days afterwards. Highly recommended, from a 212 lb former strongman (formerly ~260 lbs) turned runner. Yeah, I wish they were cheaper too, but I went through less than a case and a half training for and running the marathon - think how much your running shoes cost.

I used these on an ultra recently, along with a few other well-known names. I liked that they kept me going and I could definitely feel the caffeine kick in. However, the flavor wasn't a favorite. Not bad, but definitely not something I'd pick again. Also, if you are used to the consistency of Gu, these are REALLY liquid. Even on the just-above-freezing morning of the run, these were still very thin. Good if you like it that way, but I really like my gels more... gelled. Still they made a nice change-up, and grabbing one for an extra caffeine boost was nice
