Nice looking percolator. Handle with care.

Nice looking percolator. The brew basket and stem are very flimsy which was disappointing. Handle with care when washing, etc. Brews a good pot of coffee. Brought this percolator on a camping trip and it worked. Don't be shy on brewing a full pot otherwise you'll get very weak coffee. Also, I'd recommend a fine mesh strainer when pouring cups as you'll probably get some grounds in the pot from the percolating.

Received in generally pleasing shape, except for the aluminum clasp which holds the lid to the pot proper. It is cheap, appears aluminum and is not tight / secure enough. Had I known I would have looked elsewhere.
Normal coffee grounds fall thru the holes of the percolator ...

Normal coffee grounds fall thru the holes of the percolator. You need a coffee grinder and set it to large grind.
