Poor deer repellent.
bosephus•September 27, 2017
I bought this to plink at the many deer that eat the hostas in my garden. Stings them but doesn't do much harm. Deer don't seem to learn though, so I need to find a better method.
Can beat the price of this gem!

Accurate (after some minor adjustments) and reliable. I've put a few hundred BB's through this so far and no problems yet. Pellets are even more accurate and I like having the option to switch between the two. Great product for the price!
Ok rifle for it's price

Pretty good for such a cheap rifle.
Works as expected. Accuracy not bad.
The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that it also looks cheap.
That is to be expected from such a low priced rifle. I think I was mislead from the reviews that praised it so much.
Overall looks like a kids toy.
The bolt handle is plastic and it bends when you pull or push the bolt. Not sure how long will last.
In any case it seems to shoot fine. It is relatively quiet, so less worry about neighbors ( the main reason I purchased it)
So overall pretty good.
Not exactly what I expected but is OK.

This is a great rifle. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. If I was comparing this to the high end air rifles available these days it would probably be 2 or 3 stars. But considering the price, it does the job. I bought 2 of them. First thing I did was see how accurate they were straight out of the box. Without any tampering, I was getting about a 5 inch grouping at about 15/20 yards with 5 shots each group, which is not ideal. After zeroing in the sights, it was considerably better. It did seem one of the rifles was more accurate than the other. I was able to get one rifle to a 2 inch grouping and the other to a 3 inch. It wasn't hitting the bullseye each time, but it was close. Keep in mind, I have not tried different bb brands or pellets. I just used zinc plated bbs. I bought these for kids, which I think it best suits. The trigger pull is a bit strong, but I think that teaches kids good fundamentals so I don't have a problem with it.
After sighting it in I moved to shooting cans/bottles/etc. This thing is perfect for this. I hit everything I aimed at, 100% of the time. I would rely on this gun for any can shooting in the back yard all day long. If you are looking for something with pin point accuracy, I would personally spend the money and get something a little more high dollar. But if this is a first bb gun for your kid, something to shoot cans and bottles with, or even small game hunting (probly nothing bigger than squirrell), you really cant go wrong.
I plan on trying different ammunition including pellets to see if that improves the accuracy. If I have better results, I will update.
*UPDATE*
So I wanted to update after spending some more time with this thing. I have used various ammunition, different pellet types as well as different ammunition. I also got a cheap scope from walmart. I have to say, the scope, cheap as it was, made a huge difference. I noticed pellets were far more accurate then bbs. I was able to keep grouping quarter sized even without the scope. I was even able to dial in the grouping with bbs a bit more to. After spending a lot more time zeroing this thing in, I am very pleased with this purchase.

It's easy to load and easy to pump
garpwarp•July 6, 2016
When I first got it, I thought the barrel was a little short, but I got used to it soon enough. It just had a different feel than my previous gun. It's easy to load and easy to pump. I have found it to be very accurate even from a fairly long distance. It's powerful enough to kill a squirrel from a distance. The price was right. It seems to be well made and it has an attractive low key appearance.
