Exactly what is advertised. Remember, color may vary. Mine came as grey, but as long as it works I don't care. Instructions are easy to follow. I removed my dado insert and placed this in. With about 5 minutes of adjusting the screw just right, I clamped a board over it and ran the saw up into it. It did make a whining noise due to a vibration in the plate at first, but it went away after I cut my first piece of wood.

Works great. Easy to use. Make sure you raise the blade slowly while cutting the hole in it. I went to fast and chipped the edges of the hole while making it.
Good accessory for Hitachi Tablesaw

It took several years to get an insert for my Hitachi saw. This installed fine but I killed my $10 lowes plywood blade cutting the slot. The directions are clear - don't tighten the front screw too much or you will tilt up the backside of the plate. The fit is good and it leveled easily on the saw.
