You cannot see it from the picture (or at least I couldn't) but the pieces are held together by zip ties and tubing for the latch.
I still think it is a good product and is much bigger than expected.
Pros:Large, bait holder, large entrance holes
Cons:large mesh for bait holder(don't put worms in it, try minnows or larger), expensive, orange part is plastic.
Yay or Nay?: Overall I would get it, but try to modify the bait holder mesh to make it smaller.
