Wonderful product. In the acrylic bowl, add small ice cubes or frozen ice-pack type plastic cubes (mine are assorted cute blue fishes). I manually moved the cubes towards the sides to make a little depression in the center so the stainless bowl would sit low in the most ice possible. The dip or shrimp or whatever can be prepared ahead and kept cold in the stainless bowl in the refrigerator as it comes with a snap on plastic cover.

This is a perfect dip bowl for keeping dip cold during a picnic or party! It comfortably holds the amount of dip I usually make with a 16 oz. container of sour cream. It fits nicely on the usual size serving tray. It is very pretty. The inner bowl has a nice lid for storing leftovers, which I can now keep because the dip has been kept cold.

This product worked very well. Filled it with blue cheese bacon dip, put ice in the bottom, water over the ice and took it to a gathering. This stayed cool for at least four hours. There was still ice in the bottom when we arrived home. Looks great, worked exactly as described although I was hesitant to purchase this because some of the negative reviews. Holds about two cups of dip, sour cream, etc. I look forward to using this all summer long!

We're using this for serving ceviche and it works very well. I found the lid fit well (though we haven't tried to make use of it, yet) and it's a good site for serving ceviche to a small group. My ice cubes are a little too big, straight out of the freezer, to fit well up the sides, so next time I'll crush the ice first. Very pleased--might buy more if we start doing more entertaining.

Loooove this!! I so enjoy having dinner parties, people over, and just socializing in general. Of course you never want to host or show up to someone's home empty handed, so I am always looking for new dips and appetizers to try. I can't count how many times I said "I wish I had a bowl that would keep things cold"! I've even taken a second bowl with me to fill with ice and place the dip bowl on top of (usually my go to green chile crab dip mmm), however, the ice melts before long, there's condensation, a mess. I was a tad skeptical when I came across this, but ordered it and have been so impressed!! It does just what it says it does and will most definitely accompany me to many a gathering from now on :)
