The good and the bad...

Alright, to start off, I am 5'6", 138 pounds, wear size 6 combat boots and size 7 tennis shoes. My inseam is about 29". I purchased this as backup for my Caddis breathable stocking foot waders and Korker wading boots.

I was debating on what size to get because there were no reviews about this wader regarding its fitment or quality. I took a gamble and went with the size 6 because the price of this size is about $22 and the next size up is $120? Yeah, you read right. The price jumps up by $100. Wow! The Caddis waders I have is a size 7 and the Korker boots are size 8.

Anyways, I have used this twice so far and it is not too bad. Very, very heavy, though. I don't have a scale to put it on but I am guessing it weighs about 3-4 time more than my Caddis and Korker combo.

As far as boot fitment goes, it fits me well wearing cotton socks. The boots are super thin so I also tried it on with some thin neoprene socks and that was starting to get a little tighter but I was able to do about 4 hours of fishing without too much discomfort. The boots are definitely not made for long treks to your secret fishing hole. I was able to insert a cushion insole and that worked well with cotton socks. It was too tight for neoprene socks with the insole.

The fitment of the wader itself was a bit more uncomfortable but for the price, definitely something I can overlook. With the waders being coated in a rubber material and seamed at the crotch, it's easy to guess which part is the most uncomfortable. Also, because of my short legs, everything bunches up right at the crotch.

The waders are really stiff and smell strongly of rubber. It does NOT come with suspenders or a wading belt. For $22, it is a steal. If you have to get any size besides size 6, I would not recommend these waders. It is definitely not worth $120. You will be better off with breathable waders as boot foot or stocking foot.
