A one pump

Tittle lists this water pump as a 3.0HP water pump but when it arrived it had a sticker saying it only had 2.5 HP. I did not notice the picture has the same sticker stating its 2.5HP.

Nice little pump. It was delivered with a broken $1.49 oil plug. I called Lifan service department for a replacement. In order for them to send the replacement I needed the serial number which is not located on a convenient label on the machine, but rather stamped into the side of the block and was very faint and very difficult to read. I then had to get a copy of my invoice from amazon, circle my name and price of the unit and fax it to them. I received a new plug in 4 days, only to find it leaked oil after running for an hour. No big deal, I was able to tighten it back up, lucky for me it was loose rather than over torqued. I only give it 3 stars, as it was not perfect out of the box and it was way to expensive and time consuming for myself and them to put a small plastic plug in such a huge box and send to me, and then for it to leak. I guess they have way to many customers trying to scam them for free oil plugs? Next time I need something of this nature, I will buy it locally, so if there is a problem I wont need to wait, after all it is a water pump and you usually buy them because you need it now and for it to work. Other than that, pump runs nice and quiet, 2 pulls to start, and runs about an hour on full throttle with a tank of gas. For my 4' lift and pushing it about 75 feet through a downsized 1 1/4" hose I seem to be moving about 3600 gallons per hour.

I happen to be a weekend prospector I go for the Gold. This pump gave me no problems and started on the second pull of the rope. Now Im finding more product. It worked 7 hours straight love it.Thanks
