Looks pretty but nuts break

Decorative nuts pop off and break during assembly when you follow the instructions to tighten the screws. (You MUST tighten the screws or else the structure will be too loose.) That's a lose situation. Overall, it looks very pretty though if that engineering flaw is overlooked. Generally satisfied. If you have heavy (think cast iron), medium to large size pots and use them a lot I would not recommend this pot rack because the slightest mistake (pot handle bumping into it as you're trying to get it out) could cause the rack to fall over or other pots to fall down. In that case, a shelf might be a better option.

Got this rack for my wife & she loves it. It fits nicely in the corner of our kitchen without taking up too much room and without being too tall for the area. It was a little challenging to assemble by myself, but I got it done. It is solidly built. Would definitely recommend!

The original order was understandably lost in the holiday/Covid online shopping blitz. When it finally did arrive, we sent the stand back as we thought we received a smaller version. So, we returned and then reordered. Shipping was prompt the second time. The shipping box is small due to assembly requiring one piece stacked on top of the other. Not a concern though as the assembly took two persons but instructions were clear. Five lighter weight collectibles are currently on this stand. There are potentially six pieces that can be stacked on the stand, if the top tier is used. Note: we do own a separate stand: forged, taller, more expensive and sturdier, from another manufacturer. We use this one for heavier pots and pans.
All in all, we are pleased with the Old Dutch purchase for our intended purpose.
