Defective, shotty product over all.

I bought this for my 2006 v6 Mustang. One of the hose clamps were broken, it doesn't sit in the car correctly, everything ended up more or less being forced into place, and the air sensor would not fit into the slot on the new pipe and required an hour of fiddling just to get it to set in correctly. It would appear the hole in the new pipe was not cut correctly to fit the sensor. Really nothing about this thing was as it was supposed to be. Its got a estimated install time of 1/2 hour-1 hour and it took probably 6 hours to get it just into the car so that everything was hooked up. - onto the sorta good- once hooked up I saw a large increase in power and MPG, but that only lasted two weeks. I checked the hose, filter, and the whole assembly. Everything is still hooked up the same as it was and is all correctly (to the best ability of what I received) connected. Now it is back to its factory performance. For those two weeks this was well worth it. now not so much.

It was easy to get the stock system out but getting this thing in was a bit harder than the videos made it seem. I ended up needing a second set of hands. All in it took about an hour. Don't forget to disconnect the battery either or you'll get the check engine light. Easy fix if you miss that though.
Once it was in I took it for a test drive. The sound is great compared to the stock system, the power difference is notable-not too much but you feel it. And after two weeks of having it in I have noticed that I fill up the tank a little less.

Good part, easy to install.. Just don't over think it. Couple screws and clamps.
Looks great under the hood too. Car sounds better for sure.

Works like a charm. Remember to disconnect the battery during install, or you will get a check engine light. If you do get the light, just disconnect the battery overnight, and let the car idle for about 15 min after reconnecting the battery.
