I have used steel scaffolding in the past and finally sprung for this aluminum setup. The side ladder pieces can be picked up with one finger, but feel very sturdy. Just used this to adjust a ceiling fan in an 'open above' EIK with 18 foot ceiling. First time, some of the pieces fit a bit snug, but better snug than loose. The wheels left no marks on the white tile floor. This setup can also be used as two separate scaffolding units which is very handy since it is not so often that I will need the extra height. The difference between buying this together vs two separate units is that you get the 'outrigger' brackets that put a second set of wheels at the base for stability.

We finally broke down and bought are own scaffolding. We have a two story log home. Rentals are getting expensive. We are very happy with the purchase and much lighter then the rental we have had.

I would say this scaffold would meet most expectations for quality lightweight scaffolding. The welding appears very good. The decking is riveted to the metal frame.
I bought this because I needed lightweight scaffolding that I could move and position by myself for high cathedral ceiling. One man can set up and break down this scaffold fairly easy.
It does have painted steel framing around the wood decking for strength purposes and that part is just as heavy as regular scaffolding; I think for the price, that steel frame should be stainless steel so this scaffold would never rust anywhere. Also, if you plan to use this scaffold outside, I suggest to coat the plywood decking with exterior varnish or a poly. The plywood is not sealed against moisture, and will probably delaminate if you leave it outside. So there is room for improvement.
