Steel nipples

I was using a brass fitting on my compressor from my tank to my pressure switch and it has snapped more than once due to the vibration. I had to really fight with it to get the broken off nipple out of my tank. The almighty nipple extractor wouldn't even work. I even tried wearing my nipple clamps while I did it and it didn't help. I had to drill it out and chisel... Great fun... Now that my nipple had been fully extracted, it was off to the local hardware stores to find another replacement. Multiple local stores only had brass in the 1/4" size. So Amazon to the rescue again... This installed easily and now I won't have to worry about snapping this pipe. Now I can really blow some hot air.
