Nice variety. Bought for tumbler. Variety of sizes as recommended in tumbler instructions.

Kinda expensive, but they are pretty. I ordered them at the same time as the tumbler so I could get some instant gratification. Planned on finding my own rocks from now on but....after a couple of weeks of tumbling, these look pretty neat, maybe I'll order more some day.
Nice rocks for tumbling

Good mix of rocks. The colors are nice and after a good washing there are a lot of beautiful stones. A special surprise, there were two good sized chunks of tiger's eye that I can't wait to get into the tumbler. I've run a few pieces on the trim saw to take off some of the odd protrusions, no big deal it is rough after all. Not many pieces that I wanted to clean up before throwing into the tumbler. In all a nice bag of rocks.
Bonus rock!

I just opened my box of rocks and I have to say that I am thrilled to pieces. I got at least one of every type mentioned, plus I'm pretty sure I got a bonus type. At least, it doesn't look like any of the pictures. After sorting through them, I counted 13 distinct rock types. That's a win in my book.

The rocks themselves are very rough and should definitely be washed before sorting, unless you like dust and grit all over your hands. Washing also helps show off the colors and makes them easier to identify. I would go so far as to say that every stone I got is definitely worth doing something with, whether it be polishing, tumbling, cutting, or leaving rough because they're just that darn good looking.
