I used this tablecloth for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am very pleased with it. To begin with, it is beautiful!
There seems to be a thin plastic layer over the fabric so it is easy to wipe small spills and spots off. Someone spilled red wine and even that came off. I have washed it in the washing machine with cold water and it came out looking like new. There were a few soft wrinkles so I laid it down on my glass top table and gently went over it with a steam iron and they came out easily. It is very well made and I highly recommend it.

I have a huge dining room table and bought this tablecloth and the Rivierra Embroidered Design Tablecloth around the same time.

Of the two, I preferred the Rivierra, which is about $20-30 more. The Treasure Lace tablecloth is pretty plasticky. The Rivierra is a fairly heavy cloth. I don't want to compare apples with oranges, but the description read that it "combains" the soft visual appeal of cotton with the durability of plastic, but it looks like plastic. That said, this will probably be the tablecloth I use when I serve meals that could result in unfortunate stains (spaghetti), but only when stains are a distinct possibility.

As time as gone by, the Rivierra that I recommended has begun to pucker after half a dozen washings, while this table cloth has softened and lost its "plasticky" look.

I noticed a red stain on the tablecloth before I took it out of the packaging. Naturally I was concerned, but with one day before my Thanksgiving dinner party and no other alternatives in sight, I had to make this work. Luckily for me and my guests, the tablecloth was a super HIT! No sooner had I laid it over my table than I realized how really beautiful and classic it looked. I was impressed with the overall appearance, detail and quality. In fact, my guests couldn't stop talking about it. I really lucked out. And after a complete washing (=cold water) the tablecloth was as good as new. I highly recommend this product and trust you will come to love using it for your very best occasions.

I bought for my mother and she loves loves it! It fits perfectly on her 8 seat dining table and it's pretty. Great price and was easy to find on Amazon.

Two days before Easter I realized that my vintage white damask tablecloth did not fit my brand new dining room table with the leaf opened. Not having the time to devote to a full day of driving around to find one that did fit, I immediately turned to Amazon. It would have arrived by Friday using Prime, however just to be sure, I paid a little extra for the overnite delivery.
This is a beautiful cloth! My table is still a little small so the drop on all sides is very long, though not a problem, really. It will be beautiful when I again set up my table in June as a buffet table for an in house wedding shower. My one concern out of the . package was the stiffness of the polyester fabric. The cloth almost seemed "starched". I wanted to wash it to try to soften it but feared it would be ruined, though it is machine washable/dryable, but I didn't want to chance it and be back to square one, no cloth! I received many compliments about how pretty it was, the lace trim around the edges and in the center is very attractive.
It also laundered beautifully, and did soften up in the wash/dry experience. I ended up washing and drying it twice because after the first time, when I spread it back on the table to fold for storage, I noticed a round "grease" spot on one end. It seemed like the, kind of spot fabric softener sometimes leaves, so I pretreated the spot and rewashed/dryed. Spot gone! I know this cloth will provide years of use for many holidays and events. My daughter even expressed interest in borrowing it for her large table.
Do not hesitate to buy this cloth, it's a keeper, and if you feel it is a bit "stiff" out of the package, go ahead and prewash it.
Very worth the cost.
