I always buy the EXTREME LITTER but since the cover pics on pkg looked the same I accidentely order the clumping litter BIG MISTAKE! My cats urine soaked up this litter and after they stepped out of box there were MUDDY pawprints all over my bathroom as well as down my hallway. I do NOT recommend this litter!!

Best litter I've ever bought. Totally different. Not clumping. You can just pour it all out of the litter box into the trash and the litter box is clean! Or scoop it easily. No scraping. Big particles, not messy. You must get this specific type of Fresh Step. I accidentally bought a different one once. This one is the Non-Clumping. I promise you I'm not getting anything in exchange for this review and nobody asked me to write it.

This is the best cat litter EVER! It absorbs odors so we'll we don't notice it for up to a month with our cat. Just scoop out the poop and mix the wet litter in with the rest and it dries out in no time. We can't find this exact style, Fresh Step EXTREME in our local stores anymore so we're happy to find it still available at Amazon.

I love this stuff, but guess what? They upped the price to $7 more!!!!!!! Not happy and no longer buying.

I've used the regular Fresh Step for years, and it has been my favorite. In fact, when we adopted our most recent kitten, I asked about the litter, and the folks from the shelter were unanimous: Fresh Step is more expensive than some, but it's the only thing that really works. So, I tried Fresh Step Extreme, thinking from the hype that it would be even better. What a disappointment. No odor control at all. I changed out the box this morning, scrubbing it out with disinfectant and adding the litter as usual. A few hours later, I walked into the area, and was almost knocked over by the odor. The box had been used for both functions by one cat. I'm giving the product two stars because this litter is better than nothing at all, but not by much. I'm going back to the tried and true, no question..
