The product was very easy to assemble and it is light weight when full. In my experience it is very frustrating and difficult to learn the correct position needed to manuever myself and properly position the product so that I will not leak on the floor. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is immobile, but be patient with yourself until you learn what is the proper position for you.

My wife ordered this for my mother who is bedridden, incontinent and has periods of confusion. We had to keep three waterproof pads under her at a time to try and keep bed dry and we washed 2-3 loads of pads a day because even with three pads spread out under her the linens would still get wet. The first night and day that she used it we only had to change one pad due to a little dribbling on her part. My mom loves it. She wishes she'd gotten it sooner. The bag drains well even with the tube coming over the top of her leg instead of under it because she is unable to lift her leg. The urinal part makes a better seal than others she's used in the past and the handle is long and makes it easier for her to position it. Anyone who has issues with incontinence and would like to be dry and independent should try this. It worked very well for us.

I would give this product five stars except that the valve going into the collection bag is very tight. I am glad that I tested it with water before using it for the first time. The urinal part wouldn't drain into the bag at all, so I had to empty the water, and blow really hard into the hose until the bag began to fill with air. I emptied the air and then tried again to fill it with water and this time it emptied as it should have. Other than that, this product works beautifully. I just had back surgery and getting out of bed in the middle of the night isn't something easily possible for me to do, so having this device handy is wonderful. I do suggest having a pad underneath you because no matter how good you are at this, there is going to be some leakage because women just aren't built for this kind of thing.
