My go to favorite colored pencils for adult coloring books is Staedtler Ergosoft. I was looking for more colors and found these. I spent a couple hours testing this set this afternoon. I am glad I ordered more than one set. These will now be added to my 24 Ergosoft set for a larger variety of colors. I really like the feel of this set. The colors are bright. Even pressing very hard did not create the waxy lumps that I sometimes get with the Ergosofts. I would prefer the triangle shape but for the price and quality of these pencils I feel that they are a great value. I am very glad that I bought a backup replacement set. I will be using them often.

The only problem I have with these is there's only 36 colors I wish they made facts of 78 to 150!

I rank these pencils with my Faber Castel's and Prismacolors - Plus they're made in Germany in the wood is harvested from ecologically sound foresrs - a huge PLUS! The lead lays down beautifully, they shop and beautifully with my KUM sharpener and they are always used in combustion with my expensive sets.

I'm not a professional artist at all, but I really like these. If your looking for color pencils for a adult coloring book I'd recommend them, and if you're kid is into drawing I'd recommend them.
I probably shouldn't have drawn the color swatch on printer paper, but they look a lot nicer on paper with more tooth, I drew the drawing in my sketchbook.
Also, a little tip. With cheaper color pencils you should stay light and layer it, and maybe towards the end push a little harder.
Also, if you layer and push to hard they become shiny and start to look chalky.
PS it doesn't come with a pencil case, that case is my own.

I had to give these pencil a try & I am so glad I did, I read alot of the reviews about them & many were not good, but, I don't agree with them. I found them to be smooth, easy to blend, they sharpen nicely & to a fine point, the tips don't break. The color assort is really nice. They are not as dark as some colored pencils I have tried, but, if you go over the same color you can get a darker tone, I guess depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there aee methods of shading that would work very well. The only problem I do have is I am hoping they will come out with a larger set. So, I do highly recommend Staedtler colored pencils. And I will be purchasing more of their pencil soon.

These are great pencils. I am somewhat new to coloring in coloring books. It is amazing how relaxing and therapeutic it is after a long day at work. Now that I have tried it, I am hooked. I looked at a lot of different pencil choices and decided to try these. I am glad I did!! They colors are beautiful first of all and there are enough colors that I have all I need. The pencils color with a very smooth finish. They do not easily smear. I even really like the feel of this pencil in my hand. They sharpen nicely and are easy to sharpen. They might cost a little more than the pencils you usually find in places like Walmart and Target but they are worth the extra few dollars. I am really happy with the way my coloring pages turn out using these pencils. I would definitely buy these again and highly recommend them. Anyone who needs to unwind at the end of the day should try coloring! You might be amazed by how much you enjoy it.
