I'm sure everyone's been there when trying to figure out what to get a loved one as a gift. Well my mother's birthday and Mother's Day fall very close together and I'm always stuck on what to get for her. Thankfully she's a giant horror fan and came across this Nightmare on Elm Street Candy Bowl a few years back.

Believe me, it's not the first time she's practically begged for this Freddy decoration. We have more Freddy decorations in our house than we need (but we both equally enjoy it none the less!) I am a relatively cheap person who cannot stand paying for shipping and handling.. But I caved! After hiding this away for a few months, just to know it would be here in time (no worries, shipping was much faster than I predicted!), my mother's joy when she unwrapped this was wonderful. She actually cried.

All in all, this candy holder is chilling on my kitchen counters getting a lot of attention from guests. He's adorable, very detailed, and a great size for the price. Plus he makes himself extremely useful holding our snacks! Can't beat that!

Other reviews say it falls over? Mine didn't , and I added heavy candy. I was worried at first so I placed a pencil underneath the bowl for stability. Very happy with this purchase. This was out away to use next year again

I am a huge Freddy fan and I brought this into work and he was a big hit! I was hoping it would be heavier for the price you pay, but it still looks great. The bowl that comes with is a very thin and cheap plastic and if the candy is too heavy, he will tip over so you do have to watch what you put in the dish. That being said, he stays out all year round and I just decorate him to match whatever holiday it is. This is a must for any big Nightmare / Freddy fan!

Literally waiting by the front door when I found out this little guy was going to be delivered today! I ordered the Friday the 13th Jason last weekend, got it last week...ordered Freddy the same day! Got it FAST! Awesome detail and paint...incredible! The only reason I am rating 4 stars and not 5 because it is not clear in the product detail that there is no back to these. It is hallowed out so that you can add some weight to it in order to prevent it from falling forward when adding candy, but just so that buyers are aware that there is NO back to this. It did not bother me at all though because I turned around and ordered the Freddie the same day I got Jason. Now all I need is Michael Myers and Leatherface! Please Rubies, make these as well!!!! I will be your first buyer!

I love his face, the only thing I don't like about it is that it tips over if there's too much candy in the bowl
