Perfect shower stall for our needs!

I looked long and hard for a molded shower for our basement renovation. This one is perfect. No ugly caulk in the seams, textured base to prevent slipping, lots of spots to place toiletries or a foot when shaving legs, and a removable seat. It is also large enough that the showerer does not feel cramped. I use a gentle shower spray cleaner and wipe it down regularly, which keeps it looking brand new.
The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it had a small crack at the front base corner. This is not a potential leakage issue, and my contractor was able to fix and mask it sufficiently. I agree with other purchasers who suggest the unit needs to be packaged better.

Shower stall is great. Heavy duty and very sturdy. I had problems installing the 48" wide base in a 48" wide room in a retrofit application. I could stand the unit on it's side to get it into the room but with the tall base there was not enough space in the room to turn the unit into the proper position. I had to remove part of one wall to create room to maneuver. Would work great in new construction or a larger room but there was a lot of extra framing and drywall work needed in my application.
Step down from a tub in a good way.

The shower went together easily and could be done by one person. It had a small chip blemish which is barely noticeable which kept it from getting 5 stars. I got the model with wood inserts for future use of grab bars but there is absolutely no indication where they are located from inside the shower and of course you can't get to them on the wall sides, so 10 years from now when its time to add the bars, we won't be able to do it as I'm not drilling holes all over the place hoping to hit the wood. Either buy with or without the bars installed, don't do the halfway deal like I did.

My shower kit came with two right side panels an no left side panel. The seat was also missing. The manufacturer and Amazon are making things right but this shows that there is no quality control. The panels also need some of the small cut outs were not cut out and had to be done with a razor knife.
