Sturdy Notebook/Binder

Where was this when I was in college or when my kids were in school! This Notebook/Binder is awesome. Room for loose leaf paper, folders, and a hard cover. Add to that the binder feature which allows you to open the rings and add, remove, or re-organize. A great buy!
Durable and flexible, I've used these for years

I absolutely love these binders! I had two and both are packed with different clips and samples I use as a freelance writer, so when I needed someone to hold other samples, I came back to purchase another one of these.
The binder is durable but flexible and holds quite a lot inside. I have tons of folders and the rings are easy to snap in and out to grab whichever one I need at the moment. I've had my other two for years and have no problems with the rings popping out when they shouldn't or with papers falling out. I've used these in college and for my career and they're both functional and professional (depending on the color, I went with white). I highly recommend these.

About 15 years ago I got the smaller ones....lasted long and love the flexibility. This time around I went bigger - 1.5" - figured 300 pages should be sufficient for my 2-year Spanish course.
PROS:
1. I like that this is 11.5"×11.25" so the pages are truly protected as well as any projecting tabs.
2. Strong design and materials.
3. Comes with pages (70 regular and 30 graph) and dividers (3 partial holders with index card pockets and 4 page protector style)
4. Large capacity.
NB: Just like the disclaimer states: "300 sheet capacity is measured by using 15 lb. Filler Paper. Results may vary based on different paper types." I got about 250 pages in for a tight fit because I placed reinforcement rings on each page...next time I feel I'll use the Five Star Reinforced Filler Sheets as these should not be as thick relative to paper.
IMPROVEMENTS (not cons):
1. Rings should rotate so one would be comfortable opening binder at any location. Turn rings to area for addition or removal.
2. The pockets could be a little bigger to hold CDs since they are prominent in texts but don't have proper storage.
3. Tabs should flow continuously and not overlap. Tabs reach 3 from top and then start back from top instead of continuing down.
(Hope this helps. If you need more you can ask.)

Definitely great for adults looking to keep a project in one place

So I have the Staples and Levengers Arc systems and I won't lie they are great. I break them out when I want to look like a grown up. But lets keep it real the cost of those paper add up quickly even if you buy your own hole puncher you still have to take to put it together. I wanted a notebook but I also needed the flexibility of a binder. Binder are awesome but they also say "arrested development" The 5 Star flex notebinder is a great alternative the price on the paper is super competitive. You can move your notes around, use the included dividers around subjects and you won't feel guilty for wasting a page.
I tested my fountain pens (I favor medium and broad nibs) and I found no feathering and very little bleed through YMMV.
I am using this notebinder for a personal project and I could not be more pleased.
